ENVoY Course Description

This course offers educators the opportunity to earn university credits by developing practical activities for implementation in their programs as a follow-up to ENVoY seminar. This seminar must be taught by Michael Grinder or an approved ENVoY instructor.

Credit Information

Upon completion of a 15-hour practicum project, one semester hour of graduate-level credit will be earned through Chapman University. Graduate level extension courses are designed to serve the needs of educators who desire professional upgrading, recertification, and/or salary advancement. Check with your school district/licensing board for specific state regulations.

Chapman University graduate-level extension courses are designed to serve the needs of those requiring professional upgrading and to enable teachers and administrators to meet requirements for salary increment steps for recertification. Individuals desiring to include this course in a Master’s Degree program offered at another institution should secure the approval of that institution prior to enrollment. Chapman University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Cost

Tuition is $75.00 for one semester hour of extension graduate-level credit. Payment MUST accompany the registration form.

Tuition fees are non-refundable.

Course Requirements

  1. Attend and participate in the entire seminar.
  2. Read ENVoY, Your Personal Guide to Classroom Management.
  3. Go to website and either complete and email the worksheets or download them, complete and mail or email to MGA.
  4. Submit your work within 6 months of registration date. Retain a copy. Forms/Worksheets are not returned.
  5. Course work meeting all criteria and received on or before the due date will receive a letter grade. Work received after due date will result in a failure of the course.

Transcripts/Grade

Grade reports will be provided approximately 6 weeks after completion of all course work. After receipt of the grade report, an official transcript may be requested by writing to:

Grading Criteria for the letter grade of a "B" you will:

  1. Have attended and participated in an ENVoY course/program.
  2. Read ENVoY, Your Personal Guide to Classroom Management.
  3. Meet with your principal and complete page 268 of ENVoY. Send this to MGA before you begin your implementation.

  1. Select and complete five (5) forms/worksheets from Chapter One of ENVoY. They are referred to as "self forms/worksheets" because you fill them out on yourself.
  2. Select and complete three (3) more forms/worksheets from Chapter One through Five.
  3. Send these eight (8) self forms/worksheets to MGA. The forms/worksheets are not returned. You are encouraged to keep a copy as a receipt (proof) of work completed.

For the letter grade of an "A" you will:

  1. Complete the "B" requirements.
  2. Read ENVoY pages 155-158 to fully understand the intent and format of the "peer" forms/worksheets; Chapters One - Five’s forms/worksheets are repeated in Chapters Six - Ten as peer forms/worksheets.
  3. Have someone observe you and complete the peer forms/worksheets from Chapters Six - Ten that correspond with the same self forms/worksheets you completed from Chapters One - Five.
  4. Send the eight self forms/worksheets and eight peer forms/worksheets (for a total of 16) to MGA. The forms/worksheets are not returned. You are encouraged to keep a copy as a receipt (proof) of work completed.
  5. Submit all forms/worksheets within six (6) months of registration date. You must register with both Michael Grinder and Associates (registration form for MGA) and Chapman University (registration form for Chapman University) before starting forms/worksheets. Retain a copy. The forms/worksheets are not returned. There are three (3) ways to submit the forms/worksheets.
